Got Question?
May 23, 2023If you’ve got a burning question for your pet, you can do a couple of things.
You can call me, and we’ll have a conversation, or even use one of the $15-for-a-question-I’ll-respond-by-email things. (Here’s the link for that one: https://harmonysheartllc.as.me/Ask )
You can ask it yourself.
What? Ask it myself?
Yes. It takes some practice to be an effective animal communicator, but if you have a quick question that only requires a yes or no answer, and you’re willing to trust yourself, you can ask it using a tool.
The easiest way for me is to use a pendulum, or some people do muscle-testing. I’ve never been real good at that, so I’ll discuss using a pendulum.
What you need: A pendulum, the palm of your hand, and some r-e-s-p-e-c-t. You gotta treat your pendulum kindly.
You can get a “real” pendulum, or if you’re in a bind and need an answer now, you can use anything that is well-balanced on the end of a string or chain. I’ve used necklaces with a single item on a chain in a pinch. It works fine.
I hold the chain in my right hand (because I’m right handed) so there is about six inches or so of chain between the holding hand and the item being the pendulum. I hold it about an inch above my left palm, and I take off my ring before I start. If you’re a lefty, hold it the other way, or really, whichever way feels most comfortable to you.
I also hold my right elbow fairly close to my body, to keep the chain and pendulum as still as possible. Don’t want to influence the answer!
Once you’re in position, address the pendulum. “Please show me ‘yes’.” The pendulum should do something. Mine goes back and forth across my palm diagonally, with the upper part of the swing closest to my fingers. THIS IS IMPORTANT: Just because MY pendulum swings like that for yes doesn’t mean yours will. You are not me. So be patient and be nice to your pendulum and it will show you ‘yes.’
Once it does, thank it (very important), stop the swing, hold it slightly above your palm again and ask it to show you ‘no.’ It will do something else. Mine goes in a counter clockwise circle. Once it shows you, stop it and thank it again. You’re now ready to ask your question!
When you ask your question, make it as clear and concise as possible.
Good question: “Is Fluffy happy with the new dry kibble I got her?”
Not-so-good question: What was wrong with the other dry kibble that Fluffy was eating, was it upsetting in some way?
Whenever you get an answer, stop the movement and thank the pendulum. If you have more questions, go ahead and ask them. Always thank your pendulum. Everything is energy, including a stone doubling as a pendulum, and it deserves your respect, because it’s working with you. Always start the session the same way, by asking it to show you ‘yes’ and ‘no’. It gets you and your pendulum synched up together, and then you can ask as many questions as you wish.
When you’re all done, thank the pendulum, and put it lovingly away. Hopefully you’ve gotten some answers!
The main thing to remember, besides being respectful to your pendulum, is that you have to trust the process, and you have to believe that you are getting an answer, even if it’s something you don’t want to hear. And if it is something you don’t want to hear, and you want some confirmation, you can always ask me. That question for $15 bucks thing seems to work really well.
If you have doubts about this being a “real” thing, it’s probably not going to work, so don’t go down this trail unless you’re willing to be patient, practice a little bit, and above all, create a relationship with your pendulum.
By the way, just like in Harry Potter, the pendulum picks the user. So don’t borrow someone else’s pendulum. You should find one of your own. If a stone doesn’t want to work with you, it will be … stony. Unresponsive. I searched for quite a while until I found my pendulum. When you use a piece of your jewelry in a pinch, that already knows you and is usually willing to work with you.
Have fun! Let me know if you have any questions about the pendulum process.
